This penny left the mint without being struck at all. It has a rim so it is referred to as a "planchet." Ony worth a couple of dollars.

That is so beautiful!

I wish that all of our pennies would be like that. . It is so nice looking.

I don't like that they mess up the aesthetics by imprinting faces and numbers on them. . There is no need for that with pennies, because the copper itself is worth one cent, if not more. . Of course, they need all that s___ on the other higher value coins, which is most unfortunate, from an aesthetic point of view.
