What a fine series of shots everyone. It underscores the idea that great sunset/rise shots are often about what's in the foreground. (And apologies for not realizing we are in the landscape forum when I posted mine.)

Here's a couple I took a few years back on the Mist Trail in Yosemite. Got totally lucky as this was definitely NOT what I was going for.... :p

Edit to add: They never knew I was there. Sorta wish I knew who they were - I'd send them a copy. I think it's neat.
