Thanks for posting this, I'm deal hunting right now for an A77ii.

Was your main problem with the IQ at higher ISO and how high?

I would likely only use this with longer prime lenses for sports or reach situations. Maybe a daylight portrait here or there.

This camera is really fast so I think it would be great for sports.

The only reason why I didn't mark that way up at the top was because compared to allot higher end cameras I don't think it would be rated at the top.

For example a point and shoot, a DSLR, and a mirrorless camera.... they all take great quality photos for that camera, but compared to each other they're different. So maybe I should have put the rating higher, I was comparing it loosely (I haven't used every camera) with all the cameras on the market.

It takes very nice photos in my opinion. High megapixels if you want large prints, shoots in RAW and Raw + Jpeg... High shutter rate/speed.

I think it would be a great camera for you.

Not sure if your allowed to recomend a site on here but if you are I would recomend NJAccessories.com they have good prices and are easy to deal with. The site isn't too professional, but don't get scared away, they're great people.

I'm happy to answer any other questions you have,
Seth
