Shot with the Batis 18 on an A7R2. I love this lens...probably my favorite in the bag right now.

5 Image vertical pano with the Batis 18. Lots of overlap and I wasn't trying to go super wide format, I wanted more to capture the height of the sky.

I need an UWA for real estate photography

been considering this which is my first thought, or the 16-35mm Gmaster which is a little expensive.
I have a 28mm already but could honestly sell it and put the money towards the 16-35mm

I personally like zeiss a lot more but what are your thoughts if I don't own either?

I own both the 16-35GM and Batis 18 and use both for architecture photography. Both lenses are excellent. The zoom comes very close to the prime in terms of sharpness. The Batis is slightly sharper especially in the corners. The zoom has some barrel distortion on the wide end which requires some extra bit of extra correction in post. The size and weight of the zoom is actually very good for an f2.8 lens. Sun stars look better on the zoom to me. Both are about equal in terms of color and rendering.

For real estate photography, I would lean towards the zoom. Either the FE 16-35 GM or the Canon f4 version

yeah I do like the zoom functionality and the extra 2mm.
I do heavy post processing so I'm not so much worried about that.
More so just wanted a lens that would do all I need and more.

Sucks I don't use adapters otherwise I'd be all over Canon lenses but yeah
I don't like adapting tbh.
I'd rather stay native.
thanks for the opinions
