Digital Camera Speed Challenge #415 - Steps or stairs

No excuse to not enter this week - steps and stairs everywhere, so go for it!

---------------
RESULTS!

I really wanted to declare a tie between all four entries this week as as I like each one, but for some reason I can't describe I keep coming back to that first image - "Striped, stepping and stairs" by airfrogusmc. Darkslinger's forested descending stairway looks so much like one I know and enjoy on the west coast that I was tempted to give it top spot, and the same with OldCrow's entry, while M_Six's complexity of stone stairs is truly amazing. In the end, though, here are my picks - feel free to disagree:

#1 AIRFROGUSMC
#2 darlkslinger and M_Six tied
#3 OldCrow

Holey Moley!
There are arcs, elliptical arcs, lines, rays, squares, grids, and more. This image contains an entire geometry lesson!
Love it.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "peace of mind", NOT "piece of mind".

So where WAS your shot taken, Darkslinger? Looks exactly like a staircase I know down to a beach in West Vancouver!

That's exactly where it was! During a photo-field trip to MOA...where was yours taken?

That was me (teekay) asking, not Don, so I didn't post an entry myself. The stairway I mentioned is a off a minor road, not on a main road or in a park or near the MOA (by which I assume you mean the Museum of Anthropology?) so it's amazing you found it.
