I caught this guy at the Butterfly Sanctuary in Key West FL and forgot to ask them what kind of bird it is. Stunning when it flies as it has bright red under the wings.

If you ever need to ID another bird in the future, I have found Cornell's All About Birds site to be quite helpful: https://www.allaboutbi​rds.org/guide/search (external link)

You can narrow down your search by bird size, color, location, etc.
