Well, they head for the bush. The black bears around here are very shy, and as soon as they see a car slow down, off they go. I got a couple of shots off before he disappeared.

Good one Ian. This guy appears to be fairly good sized. Have yet to see a spring bear in our area.

Thanks Terry. They're starting to come out of the woods in big numbers now with all the new fresh grass.
