Pleasant surprise...Neewer L plate bracket for X-E2

I have average sized hands but I find the X-T10 and X-E2 I can potentially drop the camera. I typically shoot with no neck straps since I use a spider holster.

Picked up a Neewer L plate bracket hand grip and it's a substantial improvement.

GT5000 tape with this bolt on grip makes the camera more ergonomically pleasing have a grippy edge to hang onto.

With the grip tape the feel of the body appears to be as if it's an OE grip.

Hope this helps anyone considering such an inexpensive item that can be quite beneficial.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know Neewer was was offering these. Does the battery door clear the recess at the bottom without issue?

The only complaint I have about the fuji system is that the SD card isn't super easy to come out. Otherwise the battery door can open up real easy.

The GT5000 tape makes a massive difference. When you use the bare virgin

grip with the black anodized aluminum the "feel" is cold and almost smooth/slippery. The grip tape is absolutely fantastic.

Here's a photo of my X-E2 and X-T10.

The X-T10 is an Ebay grip but I think it's virtually the same manufacturer of the Neewer grip but it's rebranded.

Due to my "logic" I never felt I needed an X-T1 (yes it has better EVF, weather proof and additional knobs). The inexpensive grip help add more comfort to the tiny X-T10 and maximized major comfort holding the small body. I wanted to buy the X-T1 but I simply wanted the "IQ" so I went cheap :) and got the X-T10.

The reason why I bought a brand new old stock X-E2 ($380CDN) :) was that I knew I can add a larger bolt on grip and download the "free" 4.01 firmware making the old X-E2 into almost the "s" model. Definitely a win win for me!!

I added a op tech pro strap so I can remove the neoprene padding when I wanted to be tether free using my spider holster. I add the neoprene neck strap for one body when I use dual bodies. I truly enjoy using this system.

The GT5000 tape is much easier to install on the X-T10 since the grip is more "straight" compared to the slightly different grip shape of the X-E2 neewer grip.
