Default Crufts 2006

I was limited by kit; by battery decided to run out after 60 shots so I had to run off and recharge it every hour or so. Plus my other half needed his 70-200 L and 300 L for his work (Coventry vs Sheffield in the Sports section on here) so I was stuck with the 75-300 f/3.5-5.6. Pish! LoL. Anyway, as a result, I took a lot of portraits with the 17-40 L.

C&Cs welcome!

1) This Chinese Crested did NOT like me one bit!

2) *sigh* It's such a hard life

3) Standard Poodle

4) Some flyball action. Forgive the white balance; it's virtually impossible to get it right, the lighting in the rings is HORRENDOUS.

5)

6)

7) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

8 ) If anyone knows why they cover their Yorkshire Terriers in little packets, I'd be very interested to find out!

9) Bored looking Dalmation

thanks for looking!

Nice pics of Crufts. They wrap the Yorkie's hair up in those packets so the hair won't break off when they are not in the show ring. The breed has to have a long straight coat -- literally hitting the ground.
