 You knew it was coming....

What is lacking in the 5D4 that you want in the 5D V? I'm willing to bet the two biggest things:

Cfast and full sensor 4K no crop mode ;)

Me... I just want super clean ISO 4 million

This for sure and better DR than the D810 (or whatever replaces it) so I don't have to keep hearing the taunts from my Nikon friends

By the time a 5D mark v is due, big IT will have usurped the role of the financial juggernauts found in such places as London, NYC, and Tokyo. World trade will be unrecognizable. As this new world pertains to photography, there will no longer be a debate of DSLR vs mirrorless. Conventional photography as we know it will have been all but abandoned. L-series lenses will have been relegated to the roles of curiosities, door stops or paper weights. Photography will be strictly app based. Probably not via a smartphone platform, but something biologically embedded. You'll no longer upgrade equipment. Instead, you'll modify your physical attributes.

There's plenty of room on the dial, so instead of just M, how about M M2 & M3?

And just for giggles, why not build a phone in it, too? ; )

That is true though. Plenty of room to add more custom modes and/or alternatives to the ones you got... but I guess this is where Canon being conservative will remain to keep the camera dial selections to the minimalist way.

You can get that today at B&H (external link) and it's a Canon product to boot. :)
