I followed this family of foxes since they day they first emerged from their den in May of this year. They have since grown up and dispersed, and Mom is nowhere to be seen. This is the family where Dad was hit and killed by a car in July. This is the last baby (well, more likely a teenager now) to be left hanging around his home den. Good luck little one, winter's coming!

They are very resilient Ian, I'm sure they will do fine.. he'll have his winter coat soon.

That's for sure Terry. Now I'm wondering if one of the kits will assume ownership of the dens next spring and raise their own family. We'll see.
