Default .CTG files

i've just invested in a card reader (for the first time!) to speed up the process of managing images - previously just been using Zoombrowser - and I see there are .CTG files in a separate folder to the image files.

firstly, what are these? and, secondly, when is it safe to delete them (if at all)?

thanks.

Default Re: .CTG files

IIRC they're used by Canon's software for tracking what's been downloaded. As such, they're not terribly critical for anything.
