Amazing how much it looks like it could be in Hawaii

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a X-T2 & 18-55mm but I would really like to see comparison photos to Canon cameras first.
Is there somewhere online that shows comparisons?
I have a 7D and have enjoyed the Canon colours, what do people think of the results of the X-T2 compared to the 7D ?
It would be great to read peoples' thoughts, especially those who use both Fuji and Canon.

Also, is the X-T2 good in low light without flash? (The 7D hasn't been good in low light).

On another point, when looking at the quality of photos on this forum, the 5DSR seems to blow away the X-T2. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Well I never had the Canon 7D but I did have the Canon T4i and the xt2 is much better image quality in all cases good light or low light

I had the Canon 5D 4 for about 10 minutes and I've had the Canon 80d for about a year now and I can honestly say that when it comes to color rendition I don't see anything really that much better if better at all about Canon versus Fuji

Well I would assume the 5dsr should look much better in many circumstances than the xt2 it is after all twice the megapixels..

But in my opinion I think those are two different types of cameras made for different things possibly?

Thanks for the reply.

There is just something about Fuji photos that I can't really put my finger on. It seems like the SOOC shots are much different to Canon.
I will probably rent a X-T2 but want to see more comparisons first, if possible.

Can't comment on the 7D but I have an 80D with a variety of lenses and this fall I picked up an X-T2 (including the 18-55 kit lens). It was meant to replace the EOS M5 that I sold. Since I've had the Fuji, I haven't had any reason to pick up the 80D; it will be going up for sale after I return home from vacation. Like so many people who've made the switch, I love the sharpness, dynamic range and colour that this camera and lenses can produce. The Fuji performs quite well in low light, something that it's noted for.

No comments regarding the 5DSR as it's a whole different animal.
