Still getting to know the E-M1/75-300mk2 zoom I decided to have a go at manual focusing using the focus peaking tool, this puts lines around the object when in focus - you can see it sharpening or the opposit as you move the focus ring.

LH 747 Love the long trail on this one, It was a fair distance away in some clear blue before cloud.

Thnaks mate, Im still getting the hang of the E-M1, its tracking ability isnt great as it hunts and looses focus lock too much, so I have had more sucsess without the tracking, the camera also has a manual focus assist feacture called peaking, its very useful.

I also use single shot focus without servo/tracking called SAF it good as it locks very reliably in that mode, and so quickly all I have to do is keep touching the shutter or back buttom to keep focus then shoot.
