I've been working on building a tracking mount for astrophotography for a while now. After quite a bit of experimenting with microcontrollers, motors, and pivot bases, I've come up with a mount which seems to work quite well. The overall cost was quite low, less than $30 CAD. Here's my write-up, maybe somebody else is interested in building a mount. Below is my first successful attempt at Andromeda using this mount (stacked with DSS), now I'm just sitting around waiting for clear skies again!

Thanks! I made a few modifications, can have a look here (external link). It's worked good for my Canon 80-200, but has no hope of holding a telescope.
