My little friend came out of the woods to greet me both yesterday and today. The snow has melted enough to allow access to the property where she lives, and it was heartwarming to see her come out to me. Not too close, and she was still wary, but clearly there is a level of trust and comfort.

Yes she does look pretty healthy. And she does look a little plump, she might be "in the family way", or it may just be her very thick winter coat. We'll just have to wait and see :-)

No, don't interfere that way. She seems to like company. The guy who owns the property where she lives was cutting down a tree yesterday (with a noisy chainsaw) and he had to chase her away, he was afraid the tree was going to fall on her. He said she ran pretty fast.

She's beautiful. I especially like number 2.

Thanks, she looks pretty comfy in the snow doesn't she? One of her pics is currently trending at #10 on NatGeo's Your Shot too.

What a great series Ian. I am constantly impressed with the quality of photographs that this combination of equipment produces. That's a lot of glass to be using and you do it so well!

Keep them coming.
