Looks sharp to me.

I'm in the middle of upgrading lenses, low light church shooting, portrait type stuff in side and out; Have a 70-200 f4, 85mm 1.8, and a 135L; was thinking about selling my 85 1.8 and picking up an 85 ART; now I'm wondering if I should sell my slow zoom and 135 and pick up one of these........... Keep those images, especially ones with slow shutter shots, coming........

thx

do you think this will do sports well? I was just pricing up the Tamron that is close to the canon (a review said 95% as good and 1/3 price)...

nice to know... i forget if it was FroKnows or who it was.. but someone said the tamron is ALMOST as good as the canon... and for price (hobbyist like myself) that is good enough

Mine arrives tomorrow, I'll report as soon as possible and should be able to do some comparisons if my friend who has the Canon is willing. ;)

Didn't get out of work as early as I had hoped. I was hoping to catch some birds but nothing was out. Caught a quick sunset.

Sitting here with it now and took this just for the heck of it. From about 8 feet at 200mm f/2.8. Very sharp. I'm not a product photographer so please excuse my primitive lighting.

Just one other quick example. 200mm on an APS-C at 1/30th. Focused on the M on the keyboard.
