That's excellent - did you use a flash for that?

Only criticism would be you can't see one of his cufflinks - but perhaps because he's not wearing any. If he is, would have been nice to include that little detail, as they're probably his dads or something.

Thanks for commenting SRO. I agree about the cufflinks, but this was taken during the wedding ceremony so I couldn't really do any adjusting. I was using a telephoto with the flash. ...Bob

I like it. Any way you can give the grooms arms a little definition?

sweet... i love the smoothness of the skin tones in this conversion.... I agree with others about his arms getting lost in the background. Can you lighten the tux a shade lighter than the backdrop.

I tried but it would always look fake. I felt like the buttons would at least get the eyes going in the right direction. ...Bob

Would you like to give us a RAW or high quality JPG to have a try with sharpfocus? I don't mind having a bit of a play... Or PM me if you don't want to make it public.

Tim, there is a hi-res .jpg here --> http://www.filelodge.com/files/room1...zed2/1829A.jpg . It is after I worked on it in Photoshop to turn it into b X w. I went all the way back to the original .jpg and saw that there is all kinds of detail there. I didn't remember just how much work I had done on that image. It was a throwaway except there was something about it that spoke to me. All the work I did on it was my attempt to save it. This is the original here untouched.--> http://www.filelodge.com/files/room1...2/IMG_1829.JPG . You can see what I did. All I did was crop it and then clone out a couple of light areas and then put on the hard contrast filter. I don't mind what you do to it. ...Bob

Nice detail shot Bob.

Depending on some of your other alter shots, you might be able to make a nice comp with this as maybe your anchor image.
