This is one of the few times I'd like to see the frame perfectly semetrical top to bottom with the center of the building centered horizontally.

Completely flatten the water, remove all the people in and make it BW

Well done.
Now for the details.
Cloning out the trees on either side of the building works.
You also have to clone out their reflections in the water.

I also agree that a long exposure to smooth the water would be a great add-on

I really like the image the way you posted it in post #5. The one in post #1 seems te have some funkyness in the sky going on.

I can see why some people call for cloning out the people, but I'm not so sure. The people give the images a sense of scale.
