pretty much the same logic here...I don't see myself really letting go of the a9...I really do enjoy working with it.

Me neither. Shooting experience on the a9 is great and like you said, for fast paced shooting the a9 just gets the job done. I'm more likely to upgrade the a7rII down the line....not right away when a replacement is announced as it isn't urgent, but the sluggishness and controls of the a7rII still get in the way even as a second body.

Still working with the 10iv. Really not to shabby for 1 inch sensor, but I'm close in, approx 15 feet
away.

I might be tempted to remove the one that looks smeared on the end of her nose...for the life of me, I can't stop my eye from going to that one.

I am less worried about an A7R3, as I am about an A73 being a great camera that can do sports for less than $3k...I love the a9, but I would be tempted to go to something less expensive to free up some room for glass...

I shot my first homecoming group yesterday...poor timing by the person organizing it meant that instead of an hour to work with a group of ten, I had 30 minutes...so I had to improvise and shoot fast, the a9 helped with that, this shot in particular, of the group walking down the street...I had a lot of choices to find the one I liked the most.

The light was not the best, but it worked.

That's one of the reasons I sold my a9. Love everything about it, but I felt the price premium was for the 20 FPS and other specs I didn't use.

I can say the 20FPS has been something I use...and now that my daughter is starting basketball...I am sure I will be wanting that 70-200GM even more...

Yeah I use the 20 fps burst more than I thought I would. I've found it useful for any kind of documentary photography as the very subtle movements between frames can make the difference between a great shot and a not so great one.
