Interesting, the P-63 with tail number 268941/NX191H. Took photos of it at Reading in June of this year, did not have TEST painted on the left side nose at that time.

Nice capture considering the lack of a show pass. Not sure why he didn't make a nice pass like the B2.

here's one that isn't so much about nice photography as much as one of those "probably not going to see this again" things. The only 2 airworthy B-29s, a B-17,
and 2 B-25s trailing.

Thanks. Yeah, I was a little disappointed in the entire bomber fly-by.

First of all, where I was seated, the B1 was west of the lights and the B-2 & B-52 were to the east, so all of my photos of them together had a light pole between them. :( I wish they had all been to the east of the lights. I ended up cloning the B-1 to the other side of the light pole in one of my photos as I figured that would be easier than trying to clone out the light pole.

Second, they only made 1 pass together. I wish they'd made one more pass together.

Third, either the B-1 didn't do a sweet high-speed pass like they did on Wednesday night OR it was just such lower humidity that the nice vapor cloud didn't form around it on Saturday the same as it did on Wednesday (when we had rain late in the afternoon and rain on the way that evening).

I agree with all of this. The bomber run also came in pretty high. You should have come way to the south end where I was. We had a great view of the 3 coming in. HA!

But if I were on the far south end, I wouldn't have been in position to get these crossing routes. :)

Here's the photo I mentioned earlier where I cloned the B-1 to the other side of the light poles and then cropped them out of the photo.

After years of thinking I really should go to Oshkosh, I finally made it this year. These images are from Friday's airshow.

1) F-86 Sabre jets (belly shots from the north part of the flight line)

3) B-29 Superfortress "Doc"

4) Blue Angels group pass

5) Blue Angels solo pilots pass (I spent a lot of time trying to figure out which parts go with which jet)

6) Patty Wagstaff

I'm still cropping some of mine (Had to use my 6D for the Blue Angels as I filled up my CF cards for my 7D). I'll post some this week.
