Billingham Hadley Large Pro review
Grey with black

https://youtu.be/7u__I9Z-PFI (external link)

There is also a PRO, that is not large
So be careful!
This is the LARGE PRO
https://www.billingham.co.uk/hadley-large-pro.html (external link)

SP20 or SP50 shoulder pad - SP40 wouldn't fit
I got the SP50

Fit inside during video:
three nikon ff bodies, each attached to a pro lens
d750 70-200e 2.8 FL
d750 58g 1.4
d810 28e 1.4 FL
sb910
accessory pack
mbair 11
notepad
papers
extra prime lens 20 1.8G
dual camera strap Hold Fast money maker
single camera strap Peak Design sling
two camera hand straps Peak Design

Optional arrangement that I am using today:
I give my 3rd body, a d750 to my assistant with a 24-70 2.8, so that's in her bag.

In the Hadley Pro Large:
top shelf d810 28 1.4e, and a 58 1.4g in a nikon lens pouch
left long chamber remains in tact, holding d750 70-200 2.8e
bottom shelf: nikon 85 1.4g, tokina 100mm macro, nikon 20 1.8g

BAG Reviews, master list!
Nikon D850/750, Sigma 12-24 f4 Art, Nikkor Glass: 20 f1.8G ED, 28 f1.4E ED FL, 58 f1.4G, 105 f1.4E ED FL, 70-200 f2.8E VR ED FL, 24-70 f2.8E VR ED FL

Follow up on my Billingham experience.

For those of you who are new, I am going to provide the link to my youtube review here, b/c you probably missed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u__I9Z-PFI (external link)

Very important to note, there is a Hadley Pro. And a Hadley Pro Large. This review is on the Hadley Pro Large. VERY rare to see a review on this bag. Especially video.

This color is incredible. Their gray. It's a color you may have to see in person. It's not too light and feminine looking, as I was worried it would be. So IMO, it could work for a guy or gal.

One mistake in the video, it will fit the newer macbook pro 15".

The wedding I shot last weekend. I was using my Hadley Pro Large. Amazing bag. I find it to be the essential size Hadley for me, as I put a 70-200 2.8 on a FF body, along with another FF body, and this is the ONLY Hadley, or normal & premium shoulder bag that could accomplish this. Crazy!
Again, the Hadley Pro will not fit an attached 70-200 2.8. Just the Hadley Pro Large. I just don't want you purchasing the wrong bag!
The Retrospective 20 from Think Tank will fit an attached 70-200 2.8, but it's not a premium looking bag (that's being super nice).

I have used the Hadley Pro Large in the following ways:

1. remove the camera insert and pack the bag for a weekend away. INCREDIBLE experience.

2. over pack the bag for weddings
all of this gear fits inside the bag, and accessories
- 70-200 2.8 on d850, lens down
- 58g on d750 on bottom of other side
- 28e on d750 on top of divider which is on top of the above item
- extra WA prime in main chamber 20 1.8g
- sb910 size speedlight in the end pouch: avea5
- iphone/biz cards/keys in end pouch: avea3

3. lightly pack the bag for portrait sessions
all of this gear fits inside the bag, without any stacking, plus accessories
- 70-200 2.8 on d850
- 28e on d750
- water bottle in avea5
- iphone/biz cards/keys in end pouch: avea3

I can't speak highly enough of the Hadley lineup. They are INCREDIBLY lightweight! I mean, they weigh nothing. They are like air.
Yet, incredible quality and durability.

It's a great pack. I got mine in Imperial Blue earlier in the summer direct from Hadley and at a "steal" of a price as I discovered an old but still active "Black Friday" URL. They honored it. 200$ for an almost 500$ bag :)

Please do share the discount link. PM me if needed. I’m very interested in the Hadley Large Pro.

I just checked for you. They finally took it down it appears, unless I can't remember. But basically it was their url/hadley-large-pro-imperial-blue.
Got extremely lucky....
