I'm a sucker for a smile; but I like #2 best. Is there some movement on her right arm by the elbow?

I prefer number 1. I like all that geometry that is going on with the ventilation hood, its shadow, the cupboard to her right, it's own shadow, the deep shadow block RHS, and the various other hard straight lines that are in the image
Comment and (constructive) criticism always welcome.
If they're for the subject/client, which does she prefer?

No 1 for me, it seems a bit more relaxed and natural. I find the cup in No 2 a bit intrusive.
I kind of like picture 2 but Ramon has a point about the cup. It just seems so big.
Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.

I like them both but they both could be cropped on the right side, too much dead space there. Also second one, shadows could be opened up. Looks a little dark.
