Here are a couple of shots from last Fridays Oakmont High Schools game against Roseville High School. It was raining and lighting was poor. Even with a 2.8 lens the ISO's were high, especially in the end zone.

for having the ISO cranked, they still look like you have pretty decent lighting...

i ended shooting mostly at 128000 in order to stay at 1/800 and f2.8. these look very crisp...

Last non-playoff game of the season. This was some of the best lighting that I have been able to shoot in. (Still not that great though)

the same settings that i used this year for my daughter's school.. your shots are much crisper and cleaner looking than mine...

must be the operator? the gear is a bit above mine (70-200 f2.8 and a 5D3) too but its the carpenter, not the hammer right?
