Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is One Subject, Twice Shot. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

We have done this before.. This will be done over a two (2) week period. Pick a subject and make a photo. Come back the next week and create another image of the same subject. Pick something close to home, or something you see/pass often, something you are familiar with and it won't be difficult to shoot the second week..

Let's say you pick something in your garden.. it might grow over the week, it might bloom. Construction on your way to work. The weather.. a statue from two angles..

Let's see the same subject two ways!

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

Was going to use that as this weeks, and then , shoot the moon again next week but I forgot that it was after sunset on Monday for the start. Which technically the sun did set behind the moon. But whatever. That is one reason I quit doing these. Monday is, Monday.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy it!!

Hope it is ok to post two photos and hope to see a change in a week. This is my latest evening project, a remodel that I'm working on after hours. I will be hanging, repairing, finishing, priming/painting drywall in the entire house and knockdown texturing the ceilings. Staying on schedule with other tradesmen is difficult and progress has been slow as everyone is volunteering their time. The first pic is of the kitchen taken from what will now be a dining room. The 2nd shot is the corner of a bedroom showing just two of the twelve bright colors and ink marks I will be covering. In all the painting I have done this has been a first for me, all four walls in each room a different color.

The house is almost ready for the trusses. Still need to frame out a porch and finish the top plating (upper left hand corner) on Tues. Trusses go on next Thur.

Here is a second photo of the same subject. However as you can see, the subject got tired of waiting for the photographer to get it together.

Sick Of Waiting!
