Sorry to have to say but this is really not highlighting this youg lady well. You really needed to pose her better. Also the wardrobe is definitely working against you.

Yeah.. I don't think she would listened to me if I told her what to ware. So I'm screwed there. But maybe you can tell me where I'm going wrong here. I know y'all had a poke at the focus in the last and that is all good.. I'm new and I get it. But we were all where I am at, at one point.
I'm doing something wrong when I go from the CR2, dng, PNG and finally Down to a jpg.
I have included a screenshot of the pic cause I can't upload a PNG. You see that it's sharp.. but after the edit and Lightroom puts it out as a jpeg it's not as sharp.
Could it be the FS I have tried?

I don't know what to tell you besides to me it look oof. Taking a pic of your screen doesn't really help. I don't know what you mean by "poke" ? you mean like we are hazing you for being new? I don't really get it. We are trying to give you advice to make you better. A portrait has a major flaw if the subject's eyes are not in focus and we told you me noticed it. I'm trying to help you again by giving you some advice about posing. You are the one taking the picture and you need to make sure the person in the picture looks good. Thats what a photographer does and it sometimes isn't easy but if you work at it and listen to comments people make + learn from them. Saying the subject wouldn't listen to you even if you tried isn't how to make great images. They usually don't know what looks good and you need to learn some posing rules.
