I am trying to do some research before my visit to Kissimmee in November. If I wish to photograph the snail kites here will I need to be in a boat to get decent shots or are they easily seen and photographed from land. I have a 300mm f2.8 + converters.
Sorry if this seems a basic question but i am a novice at this.

also does anyone know what birds I am likely to see at Lake Louisa state park which is very close to where I am staying.
