Hi all

May I request if you have time to spare, an unedited jpeg out of camera (full frame preferred) with your 16-35 F4L @16mm and f4...

I just want to have an idea of what to expect and check.

I have received my lens and I am not happy with what I see atm. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but your pic would help, thanks.

The first copy of this lens that i had was not good. Returned it and posted a review to that effect on Amazon where I bought it - not because it was a good price but because it was easily returnable. Did I ever get hammered for my negative review or what?
Subsequently some many months later I have purchased it again, after trying the competition, and I'm now happy with the images this one produces.
So you may well have a poor copy, but to be honest I can't see anything terribly wrong with your submitted images; I would say that the scenario is possibly not the best to show off it's attributes.
Canon do make produce poor or substandard copies sometimes. Get shot of it and try another copy as it is a very good lens as long as you get a goodun.

You say you're using a tripod; try turning off the IS.

It makes more sense for you to post a couple pictures you are not happy with.
