Nice shots. Those racks are almost as big as the ones on the Pennsylvania elk I shot last weekend. How do these deer compare in size to America's white tail? They look bigger.

These fully grown Red Deer males measure about 4ft at the shoulder and weigh about 400 pounds. Their racks are around 32 inches tall with a similar spread - so I guess they are slightly smaller than your Elk?

That's a fairly large deer. Our female elk go between 400-600 pounds (males close to 1,000), and a large white tail male deer range from 100-150 pounds.
