I had two people offer to purchase a lens I had for sale on the site.

One was for a lesser price then I wanted but he replied earlier (1:14) than the other person who offered to pay full price.

I sent a bill to the first person and asked him to pay please within 24 hours because if he was not going to pay right away, the other person still wanted the lens.

Did I mess up here anywhere or was I ok do it this way.

Thanks for your opinion.

I don't see any problem with the way you did it. OTOH, I would have waited a few days to see if someone would meet my price.

If I had both offers in hand before replying to anyone, I'd have taken the higher one. That is the chance you take when making a less than full price offer.
