POTN G-series Speed Challenge #660 - Wrinkles or Ripples

You should be able to find these almost anywhere (maybe even in the mirror) so I hope for a lot of entries.

***************
RESULTS!

Some comments:

Stiga - "Inside cab of JCB bale carrier": Welcome to these challenges! If there was a prize for most wrinkles you would probably win it, but the yellow label in the middle and the unidentified orange object top right draw the attention instead of the wrinkles.

Trumper – "Sandy ripples": Even the wood has ripples in this very nice shot that evokes memories of my childhood on the east coast of England paddling in the sand alongside the groynes extending out from the shore. That's where it was shot - right?

Jim Askew- "Wrinkled Hills: Reminds me of some of the photos I've seen recently of the fire-scorched hills in California. Where was this taken?

HogansHeroes - "Ripples on the river": Rather a "busy" shot but you've caught a nice collection of ripples.

Maureen Souza – "Results of Testing the Fire Hydrant": There must be something about kids and puddles. He looks as if he's having a fine time generating the necessary ripples for your shot.

CarloY –: "Tranquil, but a breeze picking up": I think your title says it all – what more can I add?

WINNERS

First – Trumper, although I'm sorry to stick you with another challenge so soon after you won the last time.

Second – CarloY

Third – HogansHeroes

Congrats to the winners!!! Great subject, Teekay & I wish I had remembered earlier so I could have gone out investigating more.

I almost forgot about entering this week until last night so I had to dig through the archives. October is a very busy month for me as everyone is wanting to do pictures in the pumpkin patches or start pictures for holidays. Today I have a 6 day old coming for pictures & then it should calm down until the weekend. Over the weekend I did a shoot with 8 kids & 7 English Bulldog puppies but this was one of my favorites from last week. I started photographing this little girl at 3 days old & see her every 2-3 months for another session.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Teekay for a fun challenge. Lots of great entries this week!

Since I guessed that most folks would chose a water theme I tried a different approach. My hills are in Los Angles and I made this shot earlier this year.

Welcome to our merry band, Stiga (Martin) hope to see lots of entries from you in the future :-)

Jim, I thought yours would be the winner if nothing else but for the creativity of choosing the Hills.
