Bridal prep and ring shot. I don't mind the ring shot, I usually suck at this sort of thing.

It was funny, I got some decent shots, but felt like I did not have my mojo. I did not get an image that was a little different or wowed me. I blame myself, I find that the quality of this sort of work is a direct reflection on the photographer.

Do most shoots you do have a few photos you consider "wow"

I'm very satisfied if there are plenty of good photos, but thinking back over year's shoots, especially portraits, most shoots pan-out at least one photo that I find exceptional for my own liking.

Wow is obviously subjective.... but yeah... I usually get something whether it be an event, organised shoot, sport whatever. I also usually get an outstanding candid, but not s much this time.

Don't get me wrong the clients LOVE what they have seen so far.

With this one, my ideas just did not translate to camera like I had in my mind. Oh well... can't win em all I guess.

Bet if you let the folder sit a few months and come back to it, it's possible you may change your mind, and something may strike you much more than when you first saw them.

It happens like that. I think I was feeling a bit down on my work cause I was getting the damn flu.

I am sitting here doing the edit. I found a couple that I like personally. So this was post ceremony. The little fella was besotted with the pretty young lady, so he gave her a leaf. I was not aware of that at the time I just saw them and liked how it looked. I love this sort of thing. I must be getting sentimental in my middle age.

I say, Amazing stuff there boy(Foghorn Leghorn voice)! I know what you mean George. When I import into LR, I hate my shots. But after I've posted the Sneak Peeks, my wife, the couple and myself love them. And when I do my wedding page on my website, I'm extremely happy with the results. Can we see some more please? That last one was awesome. I need fast glass bw!
