shot some football last night and all was well...

today put my card back in, a fresh battery and was going to format the card for another shoot...

the screen is very pale (not related to auto dimming/brightness) but very low contrast and has thousands of white lines running vertically through it...

it is definitely a screen issue. i can see what's on the screen enough to set the camera up (i think) for the hockey game i plan on shooting friday night but it needs repair in a very quick way...

does anyone have any experience with the screen acting like this? is it truly the screen or could the processor be buggered?

kind of concerned because of the timing...

I just looked to get a picture and it's much better but still all "lined" up...

It's upside down too... :p

I've seen similar issues, but not on a Canon camera. Usually it's a connector thing inside the display when this happens.

Yeah I didn't TAKE it upside down. Phone to web thing I guess...

After leaving it sit for a day and overnight, powered off and battery pulled, it cleared up...

Strangest thing...

Possibly condensation settled in somewhere, and it dried out over night?
