Hey all. Here is my beautiful daughter. I am trying to do some artsy settings and shots like I see elsewhere. I thought I'd share and see how I did with the pics.

Which lens did you use? I am thinking of starting baby photography.

Well 9/10 of photography for is identifying something good to shoot, looks like you've pulled a winner on that score! And, the other 1/10 you did brilliantly, superb shots, well done and well done :) I'd be over the moon with those, straight into a portfolio methinks.....

Lisaj ( ?? Is that right ) on here is the master of kiddy photographs, and I love the work of Elena Shumilova, who's great bit of advice is to dress them in simple clothes and muted plain colours so it doesn't distract from them, which I totally agree with, so for me, #3 and the 'autumn' shots work the best.

Thanks again all. Unfortunately, while I gained a new model, today I lost my camera. Fell out of my mostly zipped bag when I picked it up. I plan to borrow my sister's SL1 as she never uses it. Let's see how long Sony repairs take and cost.

Oh s**t ... that's a pity. I dropped a lens exactly the same way ... about two feet onto concrete. But I was lucky ... despite the fact that it's a lens famous for fragility ... it landed on its hood and wasn't damaged.

I hope you get your camera fixed quickly and cheaply. At least you got those great shots first.

Comment and (constructive) criticism always welcome.
