Hello to everyone,
I have a question regarding the canon 60mm f/2.8 macro lens.
I have taken a look at 3 copies of this lens and I have noticed that when looking through the lens from the front side (lens not attached on camera) and while rotating the focus ring, one of the diaphragm blades is not aligned with the rest. Instead, it "protrudes" to the front. That is, the diaphragm has not a perfect circular shape.
I attach a photo to show that.
Is this technically normal? Because this produces distorted circles on the bokeh, which doesn't seem right to me.
Any thought welcome. Please share your experiences with this lens. I wonder if this exists to any copy.
