Rancho San Antonio in Cupertino, CA is a local favorite for hiking. Being in the San Fran Bay area, all wildlife is well protected. The typical local hiker would rather shoot a loved one than harass a wild animal. The deer are completely unthreatened by humans walking around. Mamma Bambi would never warn Bambi there are humans in the meadow. As a result these guys are easy to photograph when they are hanging around. I actually went to take pictures of the wild turkeys who survived Thanksgiving, but still havent gotten them yet this year. Got these guys instead.
