Had a wee drive up to Rannoch Moor on Sunday, to take advantage of the forecast clear skies and cold weather. We never knew what to expect, but what we were confronted with was simply astounding.

1. Shoreline of Loch Ba.
Not much water flowing on the surface, however it was still moving underneath and making some great creaking noises as the water was moving the ice.

2. Buachaille Etive Mhor
Usually such a grey mountain, with a lot of heather and grass in the foreground. Nothing but ice & snow just now. Bonus pint for the moon being in shot :D

Wow - gorgeous landscapes. Love the Moon in #2.:-)

Are you related to "the" William Hutchison Murray per chance?

Cheers

Dennis
