Canon EF to Fuji X Adapter with Autofocus and Aperture Control by Steelsring is out in the wild for testing now. Build quality is not fancy as the EF-GFX. AF works. You can change aperture. Exif info reports correctly. These are some lenses that i have time to test so far:

Sigma 8-16: Work. Fast AF
Sigma 24-35: Not working. Flashing screen.
Sigma 85 ART: work. Fast AF. However, work for a min then getting the flashing screen, lens error then you have to turn off the camera. Turn back on. Work for a few mins then same thing happen again
Sigma 135 ART: work. Fast AF
Sigma 35 ART: work. Fast AF
Sigma 50 ART: work. ok AF
Sigma 12-24 ART: work. Fast AF
Sigma 24 ART: work. ok AF

Canon 24L mkii: work. Fast AF
Canon 35L mkii: work. Fast AF
Canon 50L: work. ok AF
Canon 16-35L mkiii: NOT WORKING. Flashing screen
Canon 24-105L mkii: Work. Fast AF
Canon 24-70L mkii: Work. Fast AF

In final testing now.

As for gfx, it is still better than Techart with this latest firmware update.

Super interesting! This may be the last straw to me letting go of my Canons completely.

Having my 300 F4L IS work on my X-T1 would be excellent. As well as my 150-600 VC. I doubt the AF will be as powerful and fast as my 1D for BIF, but for everything else it would probably work.

Very interesting to see how this develops.

Very best,

Where do I find more info about Canon-GFX adapters. I know there are couple but need real world examples/reviews. Don't want to join that GFX group on FB.

Any ideas where/when this can be bought?

I'm really anticipating this one. Being able to use my 150-600 with my X-T1 would be really nice. Likewise my 300 F4L IS. I don't expect superb AF tracking on anything moving very much, not like my 1D, but it would still be nice for static subjects, since there's not really any telephoto options for the Fuji system (would love to see a Fuji 300 F2.8 drop).

Very best,

don't think they are available .. a few select memebers on FM have it for the final testing .

i'd like AF to be usable , I don't expect it to behave like a native lens.. but would be nice if good enough for posed shots.

but more than anything I just want aperture control over my canon lenses..

I have a sigma 18-35 f1.8 that i'd love to use , as well as a ef35 f1.4.. and a couple of other ef lenses

I would definitely love to be able to use my Tamron 90mm F2.8 VC on my X-T1 for macro with control over the electronic aperture, don't care about AF there, but just being able to stop the lens down for use would be perfect.

Very best,
