Besides Lightroom, which other photo editing software do you use (for an intermediate level photographer)? Thank You.

I think if you use Lightroom, the obvious choice would be Photoshop, get the two together for a modest monthly fee.

Are you looking for a pixel editor? Or are you looking for a catalog and/or RAW editor?

Very best,

Lr CCC for all of my image management, and RAW processing. I use Ps for the pixel level stuff that I need. I have tried Nik Silver FX Pro, but for mono conversion I still prefer the channel mixing that you get in ACR/Lr.

Primary editor is LR6.
In no particular order:
DPP4
DxO Optics Pro 11 - I'm liking this one for raw work
PSE 12.

My wife uses Picasa 3. Does everything she needs.

Photoshop CS6 as the de-facto standard for heavy work(still learning lots about it:!:)) with a few plugins, Paint Shop Pro 7 for simple & light-duty stuff.

As I slowly become more acclimated to PS, I prefer to use it because it preserves EXIF information while PSP, being such an old version, does not.

I'm not a photographer. But I do serious editing, so I don't use Lightroom. I use Photoshop CS6.

I use Photos, the program that came on my iMac when I bought it.

I have Lightroom, and I have Photoshop Elements, but I have had a lot of difficulty trying to figure out how to use them. So I don't use those complex programs.

Instead I just use Photos. I never had to figure anything out - it is just so easy that everything was pretty much obvious, and I never had to read any instructions or look at tutorials or anything - all of the buttons are right there on the main screen, and nothing is hidden in any menu or anything. The only tools you'll ever need are right there in the sidebar. It's as easy as can be, and it meets my editing needs quite nicely.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "peace of mind", NOT "piece of mind".

LR CCC and PS CC for 99% of what I do.
I have On One 2017 but never use it
Luminar to try it out, not mature enough IMO
Affinity Photo is quite nice once you figure out where things are, maturing nicely.
Aurora HDR 2018 for the bulk of my HDR work
Machinery HDR Effects for some HDR work
PTGui for pano work
NIK plugins for PS CC
ReMask 5 for composite cutouts
And most of the luminosity masking plugins for PS CC

Canon's DPP and Photoshop Elements. I've tried a few other programs, but came back to these two.
