As noted above; it isn't physically possible with the way the website is configured to do this; but most times there is no more than a 36-business-hour turnaround for images requested by email.

When people dont post photos, I generally expect a lower price.

Who does this?

Lensauthority does. I picked up a fair condition A7rii LAST YEAR, for $1400...... that's a killer deal IMO. So if no photo, you might as well shop there, a place that does that sort of practice.

I've purchased from Adorama , both new and used. I trust their grading system and return policy so personally I most likely do not need to see photos.
I have noticed used camera bodies for sale, same model, same condition rating and price. How is the best way to find the shutter count on one body vs the other. Phone call? Email?
The reason I'd like to know is: I currently have two bodies that are being used, would like to upgrade one at my convenience but when spring HS baseball season begins if one body should stop working I will have another on the way within hours. I like looking at the site to see what items are for sale and dream about gear I'll probably never own but quick decisions sometimes have to be made.
Apologies to the OP for inserting my question in this post but thought someone may know.

After multiple attempts to connect to no avail by the employee working in the used department at Adorama and myself I finally purchased one of the two cameras I was interested in, a Pentax 645D. Luckily I was able to secure some glass this weekend to give it a try when it gets delivered.

Note: Helen was able to get photos taken for me of the bodies I was interested in, unfortunately though in the follow up calls and emails to purchase the body the employee and myself couldn't make our schedules work to finalize a purchase through him. I had to wait until the body was taken off hold for me and returned to the website to be ordered.

Here are two photos of the body I purchased that was rated in E- condition.

Funny, saw this post. I have been buy from both BH and Adorama for many years also. I bought a B W filter from Adorama recently, the seal was broken and it was obviously used, I paid for a new one. I spoke to two people that could hardly speak English, I gave up....not sure what is going on there...

Could you also advise the time and date of your call to CS and the number you called from. I listen to a sample of CS calls every week and it's important for me to follow up on this.

Okay, so I ordered the camera on Friday afternoon after Adorama had closed for the weekend but selected shipping option "UPS Next Day Air" which I believed meant that it would likely ship before the end of the business day on Monday. Shortly before 10:00pm I receive a notification that "item has been packed and has been assigned a tracking number(s) . It will be shipped by the end of today". Not certain how time works on the east coast of the United States but I'm fairly certain end of day most everywhere else means midnight or by close of business hours. Now that it is Tuesday here in the central united states and hopefully in New York as well maybe the package can be sent out by Wednesday so I can receive it by Friday.


Btw, for anyone that hasn't already figured out that the above posting is heavily laden with sarcasm I don't know what to tell you.


On another note, I have never ordered anything used from BandH Photo, only new so can anyone tell me if they hold true to their shipping claim of "Order by 4:00pm, ships today".
