Was just reading about tomorrows Blue Moon and it seems as though CA. may be in for a treat.

I have a 70-200,, f/2.8 ver. II which I recently acquired. My daughter is using my Canon 70-300mm L and lives about 20 minutes away. Is it worth my while to drive and pick the 300mm lens or do you think I will be fine with the 70-200mm 2.8?

I had tripods too.

Thank You.

Canon 7D Mark II; Canon 70-300mm "L"; Canon 100mm Macro; Tamron 24-70mm; Tokina 11-16mm 2.8

the event is tonight (tomorrow early AM)

the moon is already way above the horizon over here.

300 will probably help, depends on your goals with the shot.
