So as I understand it, Sony FE lenses will do the same thing in the 'HI+' setting. So you are suggesting non-native lenses with the MC-11 make "Hi" act like "Hi+".
Sony FE lenses track in all drive settings
Adapted lenses of any kind track with continuous Low setting, and beyond that(M,H,H+), only first frame. I tend to leave set to continuous high and pulse AF rather than switch to low. With 10/8fps I tend to track ok the first 2 frames as long as forward/reverse movement isnt too intense.
most of my lenses are native, but running into these problems from time to time is annoying..... hence why the tamron 28-75 and sigma 135 are very intriguing, 2 out of 3 must have lenses for me. Dont care enough about a 70-200 f2.8, simply too big for me to carry and I avoid at all costs. 35 f2..... honestly not hurting for one but would love to have it.
