Managed to edit a couple more pics. Well it's nesting season again so I witnessed a couple of house builders doing their thing. This Silverbill (also pictured in my first post, thanks to Jim M for the ID)) was in the act of stripping my fern plant bare so I threw out cut pieces of string to help it out and it took to it right away after I took the fern into the garage to save it from getting molested.

This dove was having a really hard time separating this piece of grass but she kept at it for what seemed like forever and managed to shake and claw that piece apart.

Red-whiskered Bulbul from Asia, Red-crested Cardinal from South America. Despite the name, Red-crested Cardinals are not cardinals; they are tanagers.

Last pic in this thread as it hits the limit. I felt so sorry for this Java mom feeding a family of five. I seriously don't know how they do it.
