Challenge #690- Your House
_______________

Description of this week topic:
Monday is my day to work around the house so today I did some gardening. I had blue-bellied lizards running all around and my favorite hummingbird sitting on my head & shoulder while I worked so I got to wondering what was going on around your homes. It can be indoors or outdoors so let's see!

Thanks for all the entries this week......the tried & true who always show up. :)

Winners:

1st Place: Tony. The sweetest little house. I love the angle you photographed it.

2nd Place: OhLook. I am a sucker for pink roses and I have a 70 feet of them planted across my back fence. These are beautiful.

3rd Place: Trumper. I laughed and cringed at the same time when I saw this. Last winter I painted all my interior doors and trim (and got tennis elbow as a result) so I totally related to your shot.

Over to you, Tony!!!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Congratulations to Tony and Trumper. Maureen, thanks for second and for hosting. I actually desaturated the rose shot a little. Those roses are so intensely colored that they looked unreal in the original image. I thought if I showed them as is, no one would believe me.

Maureen, I appreciate the comments, I've enjoyed walking around my adopted small-town with the G15 and DSLR.

The new challenge is posted and I hope that people feel motivated to have fun with it. I'm looking forward to seeing some fun and creative images.

Tony, you started Challenge #691 with the earliest set of rules from the sticky topic, the master list for this series of challenges. A lot has changed.

Congratulations to Tony and runners up!

My own dandelion entry was more of a hurried joke than a good photo - I just wanted plenty of entries for Maureen.;-)a

3 years ago we took out our lawn due to the drought. I designed the new yard and helped put it in and this year it has really blossomed. This is where I like to putz around & my yard is full of lizards, birds, bumblebees to enjoy. So... this is my house.
