Hi all

Captured these guys on my 1st safari earlier this year. I got some fairly good pics of big cats elephants etc, but I just feel something special in my heart for this picture.

I don't know it seems sort of surreal?

C&C Very welcome as it was my 1st outing and I really hope to be going back and getting better shots

Whats to change?
Perhaps re-crop to set subject a tad more right (perhaps).
Brun in or some other technique to tone down the background - its just a tad too hot.

Why do I get the feeling the two are just about to get into trouble ...

Thank you for the ideas, I'll play on toning the background somewhat and see if it's worth re-posting....

And yes, they do look like there is trouble brewing, but in fact they were seldom more than 15 feet from Mum.

I did manage to get a shot of one of them on their own, but don't think it's good enough to post

Yes, you may have been hungry for a good shot that day, and this one IS very emotive. I'm not qualified to comment on the technical stuff, but I know what feels good when I see it, and this does. The mischievous one is coiled for action, and it looks like the mom is about to curb their enthusiasm, but that probably doesn't happen as much in the wild as it does in our concrete jungles.
