Went to visit my kid yesterday and just had to snap yet another shot of the Calgary Tower. You'd think I was a tourist here with the amount of tower shots I've got. I decided to learn how to keep just one colour in a spot and make the rest black and white. Still learning so if you see mistakes... I still new.. hehehehe I added the sunburst as well.

You SEEEM to have done well with the red highlight - but its a bit of a cheat - since the image is too small to really see any 'mistakes'...
Do you think it needs a little bit of straightening? Have you tried the lens flare filter in photoshop?? It might give an interesting look as well, with your 'sunburst'.

There's a bit of lens flare that I find annoying in most pictures; in this case, it looks great! Personally, I'd try to straighten it out a little bit, so that it doesn't look so lopsided.
Nice looking selective color! |

Wow, I'm surprised to see this show up after all these months. I found the original picture to this and I added that lens flare. Not a good idea, I take it, huh? I did straighten it. And I managed to get it to post here larger. Sometimes I seem to have to shrink my pictures teeny tiny, other times it lets me post them larger. Don't know why.
