Some of them (actually most of them) are quite nice, while few are... well missed Here's one of my samples

Primoz, Primoz.....too much of that thin Triglav air seems to have made you giddy when you took that sample photo: why was it shot thru a coke bottle ?

It wasn't coke bottle but beer bottle Well original photo is plain and boring, but it was shoot with this in mind. You can't just go and change it this way any photo you want. Actually you can, but effect won't be right one... at least I didn't manage to convert all "normal" photos this way. But it's true most of my are sport photos where you have a bit less options for playing like this.
And there's nothing like thin air on low altitudes like Triglav

My 45 TS-E is on it's way from B & H so I can hopefully accomplish the real-thing and not have to fake it!!

I thought it was models at first too. I was gonna say, wow they make some accurate models.

How exactly are they getting that effect? Its really damn cool. Its been a while since I've been wowed by the neato factor of something, but this one hooked me. Is there a page on this style somewhere?

they get that by using tilt-shift lenses or bellows for larger cameras..

lol, i thought they were only used for a single building for architectural shots, but wow..

This page gives some instructions on how to fake the tilt-shift look: http://recedinghairline.co.uk/tutorials/fakemodel/

So what can we expect now from you Michael ? Perspective corrected portraits of Julia ?
Julia's eyes in focus, everything else a blur ?
Congratulations on that fine objektiv.
BTW, why did you select the 45 ? Because it's an L ? Focal length ?

Actually, only the 24 TS-E is an L. This is just a 'regular' lens. It was either this or the 90 TS-E. They are both considered very good but I have the 90mm range covered and I really liked shots that were taken with sGu here on the forums so that made my decision easy!! It will actually be the first lens that I have bought brand new!! Very hard for a gear scavenger such as myself to buy new!!
