I was out around 6pm today and noticed the moon was out, so I was inspired to attempt my first moon shot. It was shot ISO 100 f/6.3 and 1/400 sec. I used my 100-400 at 400mm. The first thing I have learned with this shoot was that I need a stronger tripod, the slightest bit of wind and everything was shaking.

Very nice Kinger. I think you could improve the picture by increasing contrast and altering the white balance. I think it needs a little more "pop."
