Default B/W--Old Barn

I am learning to use the channel mixer for black & white converts--what do you think of this/what is wrong?

added this 'color' one-- i guess it is more sepia than anything else--(second pic) does it work for you guys--which one you like better, if any at all. C & C greatly appreciated

The second picture works well for me. I love the contrast, which provides emotional impact for me. Good work.

I like the color version best, too me it shows the weathered aged look. And the deep color of the tree in the background. But the b/w shows a lot of character as well.

I prefer the b&w version. The color version has been over saturated and the general color cast of red in the grass and trees is too much for my taste.

Great subject matter. Love those scenes.

I generally prefer colour versions, but on this occasion, I prefer the B&W one because of the saturation of #2. The photo could do with being straightened too.
