I really like the first one... beauties
just jumps out at me the second one im feeling so/so about... i cant tell what it is... if you didnt say it was a plant, i might have no clue |

Indeed those are very beautifull flowers, although filled with spikes.
The second is a shot from a palm tree, i also felt like that with it. It actually reminded me of some kind of pastery, all covered with glacé. I might aswell throw in a few more pics i took on the same day These ones are fully blown already: ![]() I just love the background blur, i think it came out quite compelling, although the flower needed a bit more attention. ![]() This was the "shot of the day" IMHO, just had to make it B&W to be so agressive... ![]() |

Yes it is, they are a plague in Madeira...they have pretty flowers, but are plague nevertheless.

I quite like the first one. The subject is very obvious and the background is great. It looks liquified.
In the second batch I am mystified by that last one. Very dramatic - love it! Is it the bottom part of the plant which grows the pink flowers (1st photo)? Looks like you had a very good day out! |

Well pup if you want a truckload of it you just need to cross the Atlantic and stop when you start to feel the Sirocco hitting your face. ´ Thx for the kind comments Athena.
